THE FIRST SHIPMENT TO THE USA

The relationship between Moët & Chandon and United States began over 200 years ago. Records from 1792 confirm the first shipment of champagne to the New World. Today still, the House maintains a significant presence in this country especially with Moët Impérial or Nectar Impérial (a wine with high dosage and fruity richness).

Baqué Molinié took inspiration from this long-standing relationship by reinterpreting Lady Liberty’s torch.

Moët & Chandon and the United States

For over 230 years, the relationship between Moët & Chandon and the United States has flourished; records show its first shipment from France to the “New World” in 1792. Atelier Baqué Molinié celebrate this enduring relationship by focusing on her torch: the flame features recycled and second-hand materials to symbolize the power of creative reinvention for environmental conservation—a light for new ways ahead.
