HOME OF LAUGHTER AND ELEGANCE
Built with love by the Moët family in the early 19th century, our opulent mansion The Trianon promises evenings that sparkle with joy. This jewel of Moët & Chandon blends classical French chic with an intimate feel. Until now, The Trianon has always been our special place for private occasions. Today, for the first time in our history, we throw open its doors and share our passion for celebrating with you.
The Neo-classical décor features exquisite marble fireplaces, gilded mirrors reflecting candlelight, and original Empire-era furnishings that create an unparalleled ambiance of sophisticated elegance. Our impeccable service ensures every moment in this historic setting becomes part of your treasured memories.
INSPIRED BY EACH VINTAGE'S STORY
The spirit of a vintage brought to life on a plate—that is the mission of Jean-Michel Bardet, long-time champagne lover and our House's passionate chef. With a Michelin star to his name, Jean-Michel works with our Cellar Master to build recipes that showcase our bottles, rather than the other way round. As he puts it: "I start with the emotion that a champagne evokes—and I create dishes to enhance it." Enjoy his seasonal takes on our vintages, exclusively at Moët & Chandon Trianon.
Guests delight in our semi-open kitchen presentation where Jean-Michel orchestrates the perfect harmony between food and wine, allowing diners to witness the artistry behind each exquisite plate before it arrives at their table. This theatrical element adds another dimension to the unique dining experience.

FINE DINING AT A GLANCE
Define Fine Dining: What is fine dining?
Fine dining transcends mere eating to become an immersive culinary experience where exceptional food, meticulous service, and sophisticated ambiance converge. Like our evenings at The Trianon, it celebrates the art of gastronomy with carefully curated menus featuring seasonal ingredients and wine pairings that transform each meal into a memorable occasion.
How does fine dining work?
Fine dining operates through carefully orchestrated service, where knowledgeable staff guide guests through a curated menu experience. Courses arrive in a choreographed sequence, often with sommelier-selected drinks enhancing each dish, while attentive servers anticipate needs without intruding on the dining experience.
What is fine dining etiquette?
Fine dining etiquette involves respecting the dining environment through proper conduct—waiting until everyone is served before eating, keeping phones away from the table, using silverware from outside-in, and acknowledging service staff courteously. These practices enhance the collective experience and honor the culinary craftsmanship.
What is the difference between fine dining and normal dining?
Fine dining distinguishes itself through meticulous attention to detail—expertly crafted seasonal menus rather than diverse offerings, structured service rather than casual interactions, sophisticated ambiance rather than relaxed settings, and personalized experiences rather than standardized approaches. The investment in quality ingredients and expert preparation creates memorable occasions beyond mere sustenance.
What is a fine dining restaurant?
Fine dining establishments feature impeccable service from knowledgeable staff, upscale atmosphere with tasteful décor, and meticulously presented cuisine. They source premium seasonal ingredients and showcase them through creative preparation, creating an environment that fosters a sense of occasion and exclusivity. The most sought-after restaurants offering tasting menu experiences often require advance planning, as discerning diners recognize the value of these carefully curated culinary journeys.
Why is fine dining so expensive?
The premium price reflects exceptional ingredients at their seasonal peak, highly skilled culinary artisans, and personalized service. The curated ambiance—from luxurious furnishings to elegant tableware—adds substantial value. At experiences like The Trianon, rare vintage champagne pairings represent a significant investment, as sought-after Grand Vintage bottles aged for decades are specifically selected to complement each course. The exclusivity of limited seating contributes to the memorable gastronomic journey.
